Off Season (April - October) 29 weeks

  

Beginners Program

If your goal is to train more consistently or maybe you want to have a go at a competitive race (20km), then this is the program for you. It will take you through the transition phase, off season and pre season training phases with a mix of paddling, circuit gym and cross training. This program will help you increase your strength endurance and give you the opportunity to enjoy your paddling so much more.

Intermediate / Advanced Program

If you have just finished your competitive season for another year and you are starting to think about next season, this program will help you through the months of April and October, as these are the most important for your future development and will help you step up another level. This 29 week program will take you through the transition phase, off season and pre season training phases so you will start the next competitive year far better prepared.

Competitive Season (November - March) 20 weeks

  

Intermediate / Experienced Paddlers Program

This program has been designed for the more experienced paddler that has training at the top for several years or more and has remained fit and healthy. Ages of 30 and above, you would prefer to train once a day and have targeted the National Championships (17th March 2009) as your goal. You will the required to paddle 3 times a week and perform 3 very specific gym programs a week. Gym programs are set out for you and can be purchased from the gym program page. Extra paddling and cross training sessions can be added if you need a little more.

Intermediate to Advanced

This is the same program that my professional paddlers did for the 2009-2010 season and Hayley and Ky did for the Nutri-Grain. Working in with a structured gym program this program requires you to do 4 paddling and 3 gym session per week. You are free to add extra session depending on your availability to train and your current level. I would encourage younger paddlers to include 1 or 2 x 90mins sessions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. This is also a great base program for any ironperson. All you need to do is add swimming and board sessions.

  4. U/19 Female Single Ski          3rd
  5. U/17 Female Single Ski          4th

  

Nationals (Before cancellation)

  1. Single Ski                                  4 paddlers into quarter final
  2. Ski Relay                                    2 teams into final
  3. Ski Relay Masters 170            2nd 
  4. All other paddlers through to the next round

Advanced

Targeted towards the National Championships, this program has everything you need to improve your ski performance. Upward of 12 sessions per week, we have structured a challenging but rewarding program that includes paddling, gym and cross training sessions. Our team has gathered information from more than a decade to give you the best online program available.
