Ozflyte Surf Craft
Phoenix Racing Ski
Ozflyte surf craft is an Australian owned and operated business based on the Sunshine Coast and specializing in single ski manufacturing. The design team at Ozflyte have created an exceptional racing ski entitled the ‘Phoenix’ that is ideal for both ski paddlers and iron men/woman. The Phoenix ski has a patent hull design which simply cuts through the water while giving a very natural lift over any size wave.
I have paddled for most of my life, competing as an elite athlete for more than 20 years and this is the first ski I have raced that ticks all the boxes. The seat and foot well positions are bio mechanically tested to ensure maximum comfort and output for the paddler. The wider/deeper seat seems to lock the paddler into the ski making you feel as one with the craft.
The success of the custom hull design and overall increased mass is simply that this allows the ski to lift easily over waves or whitewater without losing any speed or stability.
The team at Ozflyte has set a new benchmark for its competitors to follow. The Phoenix racing ski is the next generation of surf craft for the competent recreational paddler to the elite competitor.

Ozpro Recreational / Development Ski
Ozflyte surf craft is an Australian owned and operated business based on the Sunshine Coast and specializing in single ski manufacturing. The design team at Ozflyte has created an exceptional development/recreational ski entitled the ‘Ozpro’ that is ideal for beginner paddlers and masters that struggle with balance. The Ozpro has a flatter hull for the best stability possible and the easiest adjustable system that still allows the paddler to generate maximum leg drive.
I have seen a number of development/recreational skis to hit the market over the years and believe that the Ozpro is the most versatile with the adjustable movement of 450mm to fit paddlers between 143cm – 210cm. The seat and foot well positions are level with the water line to increase stability and with a wider seat the paddler is locked into the ski making you feel as one with the craft.
For the master competitor, the ski might be slower than the Phoenix but the paddler will be able to put in 100% effort. Generally a paddler that has poor stability will only be able to generate 70-80% effort due to most of their energy being used to keep them upright. On the Ozpro the paddler will produce a faster pace throughout the whole race because they can get out through the surf faster with 100% effort around the cans and be better balanced to catch a wave when returning to shore.
The team at Ozflyte has set a new benchmark for the competitors to follow. The Ozpro is the next generation of development/recreational surf craft for the beginner, recreational and master paddler.
