Spanning a career of over 20 years in both sprint canoeing (kayaking) and surf life saving, Julian is proud to have been named as one of Australia’s top athletes winning national and international medals for both his country and his personal clubs. Adding to this, he has raced in 2 marathons around the world (Gold Coast, London) and trained for New York. In addition to his competitive career, he has acquired coaching certificates in sprint canoeing, surf life saving and snow skiing. Julian is a ‘Working with Children Blue Card’ holder and has experience working with all ages, levels and abilities.

Daniel Norton-Smith - Coach

Head Coach of Queensland Surf Life Saving State Team 2009

After a successful junior career in surf lifesaving, swimming and triathlons, Daniel turned his attention to sports coaching and teaching others.  He gained his degree from Queensland University of Technology, majoring in Physical Education and has coaching accreditation's in surf lifesaving and swimming.  Daniel also holds the 'Working with Children Blue Card'.  He has coached a myriad of state and national champions over the past decade including nippers, age group competitors, open age athletes and masters in a variety of disciplines.

  

  

  

Jason Thomson - Personal Trainer and Pilate's Instructor  

From an early age, an interest and talent for sport has lead Jason to a successful career within the industry. Through his work as a trained stunt performer, Jason had to personally achieve an optimum level of fitness, making him aware of just how far the human body can go.

Specialising in boxing, sports-specific programming & weight loss, Jason's knowledge and experience has reached a wide population. Having worked with clients from all fitness levels, including obesity to professional athletes, Jason has a driving passion to continue to educate himself and others on the bio mechanics of the human body & nutrition. In turn, achieving a higher, holistic level of fitness that guarantees longevity and optimum health.

  

  

  

Beth Saunders - Sports Nutritionist

My journey began in the health and anti-aging industry over 25 years ago and has taken me from working in leading Australian Health Retreats, to working with World Champion athletes and the teams they coach.  

I consult to large Corporations providing individual health assessments and group health and wellness education to increase the team’s motivation, vitality and energy.  

I write articles for several companies’ newsletters including a travel magazine and have written many articles for local newspaper’s.
